Mary Maloney Crazy or Sane
Mrs. Patrick Maloney is not crazy. I believe that she was shocked with her husband’s news about getting a divorce because he doesn’t love her like he used to. I personally feel bad for Mrs. Maloney because she is pregnant and will have to raise the child all by herself. I do realize that she may be crazy because of all her mixed emotions. At one time she was all lovey dovey with her beloved husband Patrick, and then she went all crazy murder because her husband wants to file for a divorce so she killed him. She kept telling herself that she didn’t murder Patrick and that she went to the store, came back and found her husband lying on the floor dead. She started to cry hard and phoned the police. At the very end of the story when the police were eating the leg of lamb and they said “ the murder weapon is probably right under their noses.”, she started to giggle while outside the dining room door. So it is kind of tricky to tell if Mrs. Patrick Maloney is crazy or not. Everyone has a different perspective on the story.
